Post 6: Summer plans

 I don’t know if I’ll be traveling this summer, because of the confinement and the amount of money it requires. Although I always have a place to go: my aunt’s house in the country. The house is in San Carlos, a town 5 hours by car from Santiago. In that place grew my mom and my uncles and we go there since childhood.

I like to go to the countryside because there is a lot of tranquility, near the house there is a river to visit, it is full of plants and crops everywhere and there is no wifi signal, so it is a disconnection from the city.

Near my aunt’s house, there are more relatives who live nearby so I visit them all, because during the year it is difficult to travel to the country. Also once a year they do family reunions and I have the opportunity to see my uncles and cousins, we have as a tradition to go visit mom’s parents to the cemetery and then come home to eat rich food and share with the family

When I go to the countryside, during a normal day I like to walk, share with the animals of the place, help to harvest, water the plants, make food, read a book and rest. We also like to go to a camping place that is in San Fabian, we always go to the same place because it is near a beautiful waterfall, it is a spacious place with animals.
