When I was a kid, my favorite series was Sakura Card Captor. With my
family we saw it on TV when we were having lunch with my brother and
they gave the Club De Los Tigritos before the school car came to pick us
up to go to school. The series is about the life of Sakura, a girl who accidentally
opened the book of Clow cards and released her powers by a city called Tomoeda
in Japan. This is why she becomes a card hunter, with the help of the book keeper
Kero and her friend Tomoyo to catch the Clow cards all over the city.
I like it because it brings back memories of when I was a child. Besides that I felt we
had some things in common, like living alone with a mother and a brother to do the
things of the house. I remember that I wanted to be a very good skater and go to
school on skates like Sakura, so when I turned 12 they gave me skates and I went
out with them around my neighborhood.I also remember having a Sakura Card
Captor blog, where I summarized all the chapters, movies and commented on
other Sakura blogs.
Fantasy, comedy, drama and suspense series are my favorites. And I don’t care
if it’s cartoon or real-life prints.
I also saw Sakura Card Captor with my brother and sisters on TV, we really liked it because we were all kids, so we enjoyed other series like Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2.

Hi :) As it was a long time ago, I don't remember the plot very much but I do remember the same scene you describe, watching it with my brother through El Club de los Tigritos. Now than I'm older, I don't know why it became a Lesbian Icon, as if many little girls had crushes with the characters, and even in the movie "Joven y Alocada" they mention it.
